Easy and delicious ‘Garlic-Lime Chicken’ Recipe

So this is my first blog on this platform however, I have writing the blogs for quite some time now. So, for this first blog of mine I thought of literally going easy. I will be sharing all about my life, slowly and gradually on this platform. Right now, let’s talk about the recipe which I will be sharing with you all today here.

I will be cooking a very easy recipe which is a very easy dinner idea. You can cook this in under 20 minutes and if you have a family, be rest assured they will fall in love with you after eating this delicious Garlic-Lime Chicken.

It’s actually a standalone dish but you can also serve it with some fried rice or grilled vegetables. So, let’s not waste any time and start blogging (for you, I mean cooking…. J)

Ingredients-

·         4 boneless and skinless chicken breast (cut in flat half)
·         Salt and pepper to taste (freshly grinded)
·         2 tbsp. of butter
·         1 tbsp. of olive oil
·         2 tbsp. of garlic powder
·         3 tbsp. of lime juice
·         ¼ tbsp. cayenne pepper
·         A pinch of paprika
·         A pinch of onion powder
·         ½ tbsp. of dried thyme
·         A pinch of dried parsley

Method-

·         Take a large bowl and mix salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, thyme, parsley, cayenne pepper and ½ tbsp. of garlic powder. After mixing all the dry spices, spread them generously over the chicken breasts (both the sides). Allow them to rest for about 3-5 minutes.

·         Now, take a heavy base pan and turn the heat high. Put the butter as well as olive oil in the pan. Once the butter is melt, reduce the heat to medium and sauté the coated chicken breast. Turning frequently so that they can evenly cook. They will take about 6 minutes each side.

·         Make sure, that you are pouring the sauce of butter and olive oil on top of the chicken breasts while cooking. At last, when you chicken is cooked and you have turned off your heat pour the lemon juice and sprinkle rest of the garlic powder.

·         Toss it well and serve warm!

As I said earlier, it’s a standalone dish. You can eat them without anything or you can serve them with fried rice or grilled vegetables.

I hope you all will like this simple recipe and it will be an easy dinner idea for you. Please comment and let me know how you liked this recipe.
